Inner Storm

Fearing storms,
That don’t go away,
Turning the bluest skies
Into the darkest grey.
Oxygen has been poisoned
From toxic lies,
Blizzards are covering
Those clouded eyes.
Fires are burning
From the heat of rage,
Melting the walls
Around the cage.
Lightning strikes
From the thunder,
Destroying the bridges
We are hiding under.
Oceans are rising
Filling the eyes,
Tsunamis are made
From the tears cried.
Shards of ice
Fly from the heart,
Earthquakes ripping
Innocence apart.
