Gone not forgotten

You may be gone and my words can’t measure

How your love became our greatest treasure,

Those who have passed will never go away

They walk beside us every day.

A branch fell from the family tree

An ache began inside of me,

You are at peace and now you can rest.

The time spent together was truly blessed.

When I look for you now, I look to the skies.

You are in space where you rise,

Brightly shining as a star

You are never close but you’re never far.

When I am down & I shed a tear

I know you are watching as I feel you near,

Life goes on & I feel the pain.

But one day, we will be together again.

K 🙂

This line just captures up the cruelty and the process of nature and life. A tragic line. Does that tree suffer? It has found a way to re create life and comes back season after season. Humans have words to heal suffering. I really love this. Beautiful words xxxx
