Music flows through the air.
You’re dancing freely
Without a care.
There are many sounds
And different beats,
We sing out loud
Whilst tapping our feet.
From pianos
And guitars,
Harmony can shoot you
To the stars.
Familiar songs linked
To memories of places,
Dancing with friends
And unfamiliar faces.
Lost within a moment
And feeling the ecstasy,
A natural reaction
Never taught in chemistry.
Feeling the rhythm
And letting it spread,
Arms are swinging
Above our heads.
Staging a concert
As your drive,
It’s a car karaoke baby,
A time to energized.
A love for the songs
We always repeat,
Felt through the hands
Down into the feet.

What a difference a day makes
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain….

I love how you create rhyming poems like a pro 🙂 You’re a lot more talented at poetry than I am; I sometimes get writer’s block whenever I try to come up with a new poem.
