Writing destiny

You’re bewitched
Chasing the forbidden,
Curious to find
Treasure that’s hidden.
You view this world
Like a jigsaw puzzle,
Recycling pieces
From all the rubble.
You travel to places
Out of bounds,
Treating this planet
Like a playground.
Magnetically pulled
Into the unknown,
You’re not afraid
To walk alone.
An adrenaline junkie
Addicted to life,
You need the fix
To feel alive.
An outcast
Born to be free,
Discovering fate
Writing destiny.

  4. Gorgeous piece. I read it with a feeling of desire, it’s got a real aspirational sense to it.
I really enjoyed this idealised attitude to conquering life, I wish it were easier for me to capture in my own life but to read it stirs a wanderlust in me.
    Brilliant piece!!
