Open your eyes
To existence,
Shadows scatter
Into the distance.
Touched & tamed
By the devil himself,
Masking reflection
In someone else.
Darkness comforts
As walls bleed,
In a garden of evil
Full of weeds.
Echos whisper
What I can’t hear,
Yet colours wave
As messages appear.
Misfiring chemicals
Are black & white,
Yet colours are vivid,
In the dark of night.
Seeing more
Or hearing less,
It’s reality of dreams
Wrapped in madness.

i like the lines, “Echos whisper/What I can’t hear,/Yet colors wave/As messages appear.” the combined imagery of hyperacusis and/or auditory and visual processing disorders – missing what is said twice, not seeing what is implied in vivid colors, is very powerful. i think you meant to write “hear” in that second line. nice poem.
