Disguise

Open your eyes
To existence,
Shadows scatter
Into the distance.
Touched & tamed
By depression itself,
Masking reflection
In someone else.
Darkness comforts
As walls bleed,
In a garden of cold
Full of weeds.
Echoes whisper
What I can’t hear,
Yet colours wave
As messages appear.
Misfiring chemicals
Are black & white,
Yet colours are vivid,
In the dark of night.
Seeing more
Or hearing less,
It’s reality of dreams
Wrapped in madness.
