Fabricated

I begin to imagine
A life of fantasy,
Separating myself
From this reality.
I found a place
Free from war,
Killing or religion
Can’t open this door.
It is beautiful
What I see & feel,
Until I realise
It can never be real.
I search this world
For the same feeling,
A planet of ignorance
Far from dreaming.
Life is a miracle
& not here for long,
Yet I close my eyes
As this world is wrong
Dreams are a curse
Filled with magic,
Reality is nothing more
Than power & fabric.

We are better off those of us who read the words you give us. Stay well and have a great week this week. I will be returning the blessings back to you and all others you bless xx

    Very true…
The good and the bad have always been two sides of the same coin – if we choose to live with one, we cannot ignore the other. A fact of life, I think. 🙂
