I’ve been chasing reality
In a dose of mayhem,
Lost all my sanity
I can’t remember when.
Chasing these memories
Around every bend,
Running this maze
Trying to reach the end.
Time has frozen still
In my quest to find the light,
Any rays of the sun
Are shadows to my sight.
I’m looking for answers
Silhouettes are all I can see,
Circling like vultures
The abyss is welcoming me.
