The Darkest Fairytale

Wouldn’t it be good
If life had a soundtrack,
You’d know what was going on.
You could fast forward,
Rewind, pause and playback.
What songs would play?
Would it be a happy beat?
Sad songs with violins
A full orchestra,
Or songs we’d repeat.
Would our soul mate
Dance to the same song?
Would we be compatible
Or would the beat be wrong?
Music is always in the air
As the sound of nature plays,
Songs in the background
Would be magic to a rainy day.
