Bored specimen

I don’t feel pleased
Or even desired,
There’s no passion
I am not inspired
I need excitement
The rush of adrenaline,
I am nothing more
Than a bored specimen.
As the world ticks
And steals my tocks,
I’m swimming in a sea
With a pocket of rocks.
This is my addiction
With veins of greed,
Give me an adventure
I need to feed.

  6. This was a really great post! Loved the thought, title and the way it flowed! I guess I wasn’t the only one that loved the phrase – “As the world ticks And steals my tocks,” An inspired line to be sure. Bravo!
