Petals fall

Rose petals fall
From a white sky,
Painting towns red
In a beautiful lullaby.
The paths are still
There’s no wind in sight,
The red petals glow
In the dark of the night.
Once a fearful colour
Linked with danger,
Yet only peace remains
There is no anger.
Like the stars have fallen
Upon this earth,
& now we’re all lost
In a magical universe.
