I’m a shadow bending
Into a whisper
Look through the rain
You’ll see me shimmer
A lost paper heart
Echoing through a fire,
Burning higher & higher
With immense desire.
I’m like speeding car
I have no brakes,
A broken mirror
Full of mistakes,
Maybe I’m a phoenix
Waiting to be reborn,
Or an old sweater
That’s rugged & worn.
I’m chasing stars
Like the astronauts,
Floating in space
Just like my thoughts,
I’m completely mad
Just like the hatter,
Filling oceans with the tears
That no longer matter.
I’m a free spirit
Living to thrive,
Building my dreams,
Until they come alive.
With the confidence of a god
I’m calculating my worth,
As a lost satellite
Orbiting earth?
K
Those feelings make complete sense to me.. God does not make mistakes. β€

A satellite orbiting Earth isn’t lost, it’s always falling and never reaching π
