Creation

In the beginning, the universe was born,

A cosmic masterpiece, art so adorned,

Stars and planets, all in place,

A majestic tapestry, in cosmic space.

First came the light, a dazzling display,

A burst of colour, a vibrant array.

Then came the stars, sparkling in the night,

A twinkling wonder, a celestial sight.

The Moon, a partner to the Sun,

A lover, in a dance of one,

Their rhythms intertwined, in a cosmic display,

A ballet of light, that forever would play.

The Earth took shape, with land and seas,

A world of wonder, a place of peace,

Creatures great and small, roamed the land,

A diverse world, so incredibly grand.

And finally, humans came to be,

Endowed with reason, and the gift to see,

The beauty and wonder, of creation’s plan,

And to live in harmony, with nature’s span.

Now we stand in awe of creation’s might,

The endless expanse of day and night,

The boundless beauty of our world,

Its mysteries and wonders, forever unfurled.

So let us celebrate, this gift of creation,

A force of nature, a boundless sensation,

For in every act of creation, we find,

A spark of the divine, a glimpse of the sublime.
